“ISA-88.com” functions as an organisation wherein Members, Associates, Knowledge Partners and Technology Partners work closely together. They all have something in common: they want to work according the international standard ISA-88. Thanks to this cooperation there is a matchless worldwide support for a standard.
On 9 January 2002 the website www.S88.nl went online, through which a big step forward was made in further knowledge development and marketing about ISA-88, first in The Netherlands, later in Europe and now all over the world.
Because many thousands of questions (from all over the world) reached us through our simple Dutch website, we decided to start this new worldwide initiative named: "ISA-88.com".
A group of leading manufacturing companies, software vendors, system integrators and training institutes cooperate in this new initiative to promote the ISA-88 standard.
Founded in 1945, ISA is a leading, global, nonprofit organization that is setting the standard for automation by helping over 30,000 worldwide members and other professionals solve difficult problems. Based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina-USA, ISA develops worldwide accepted standards; certifies industry professionals; provides education and training; publishes books and technical articles; and hosts the largest conference and exhibition for automation professionals.
